Large amount of collagen exists in the dermis. Collagen fibers are responsible for maintaining the strength and resilience of skin. As we age, the collagen fibers start to break down and the dermis gets thinner, bringing visible wrinkles and sagging.
Clinical studies have shown that Fractional IR laser treatment is an effective modality for skin tightening. The NGL system delivers infrared light deep into the dermis (up to 6mm).
